Dr. Gale is President of Eversley Enterprises and is the owner or proprietor of several farms.
He holds a doctoral degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Wisconsin, a Masters of Science from the University of Maryland, and a Bachelor of Science from Cornell earned in 1967.
He served on the Board of Directors of Chesapeake Bank and Trust from 1995-2000, has been a member of the Vestry of St. Paul’s Church, Queen Anne’s, and currently serves on the Board of the Climate Institute and the Kent School, Inc. He is also Co-Presiding Member of the Thomas H. and Barbara W. Gale Foundation, former President and Board Member of the William Bingham Foundation, former President and Board Member of the Queen Anne’s Conservation Association, and former Board Member of the Small Towns Institute.
Dr. Gale and his wife, Barbara, live on Eversley Farm in Centreville and have three children. He has served on the Board of Visitors and Governors of Washington College since 1998.
