Bev has local roots to the area, growing up and attending schools in Kent County. She attended Chesapeake College majoring in Business Management. She then held positions locally before landing at Washington College in 1997. She worked her way up the ladder beginning as a copy clerk, moving through the ranks until being promoted to the position of Director of Central Services.
Her training ranges from managerial to postal operations, gaining certifications through seminars given by the Postal Service, Neopost, Pitney Bowes and attending MailCom Convention, as well as membership in Mail Systems Management Association and local Postal Service Councils gaining networking relationships and training with peers in the mailing industry. Those certifications are in the disciplines of Delivery and Distribution, Postal Mail Management, New Manager Training, Conflict Management, Professional Mail Management, Safety and Security Management, Executive Management, Leadership and Staff Development, and College and University Mail Management Certification. She is a certified Mail Design Consultant, a mail industry-wide accreditation.
She is married with one daughter attending York College of Pennsylvania and enjoys spending her spare time reading, being a Baltimore Ravens football fan, and watching most other sporting events, walking her two Jack Russell dogs and going to dinner with friends. Her husband is a supervisor in the US Postal Service so they are a postal family.
