Fannie Hobba Shenk ’84 P’15 P’19

Associate Director, Advancement

As Associate Director, Advancement, Fannie meets with alumni, parents and friends of the college to engage their support for WC. Besides being an alumna herself, she is also a parent of both a current Washington College student and a recent graduate.

Some specific funds and programs you can talk to Fannie about:

  • The Hodson Boathouse. This will be a state-of-the-art facility for WC’s topflight rowing and sailing programs as well as for club and recreational water sports. It will offer team meeting rooms, shop and storage space, and a large lounge. The facility will accommodate student and alumni gatherings, regattas, and private events.
  • The Elm Tree Fund. An endowed fund that helps students with exceptional financial needs that cannot be met in conventional ways.
  • The Locker Room Sponsorship Program. An athletic sponsorship that names a locker or locker room after the donor and directs 100% of the funds to the sport of the donor’s choice.
