Why Washington College?
Originally born and raised in Hell’s Kitchen, New York City my love for the outdoors was always calling me out of the city. I am a proud Eastern Shore resident now: The Land of Pleasant Living.
I am thrilled to be joining the Washington College community and have always admired it. Though I went to a big state school, I went to a small progressive high school that reminds me of not only Washington College, but Chestertown too. I loved that during high school I knew all my fellow students, no matter what grade or different activity we did. This is how I feel Washington College is like, too; we are all part of a community here no matter if you’re an athlete, play music, or are a double major. This is because of our Honor Code which I think is what makes this place special. Integrity is what drives me, and integrity is what attracted me to Washington College in the first place and hopefully I can share that and my love of the Eastern Shore with you too!
