Patrice DiQuinzio - College Liaison
As Provost and Dean of the College, Patrice DiQuinzio serves as the Chief Academic Officer, meaning that her primary concerns are the quality of the faculty and the quality of the academic program. She works closely with faculty, staff and students on curricular matters and academic strategic planning. Along with department chairs and other faculty leaders, she also provides opportunities for faculty to develop as teachers and as scholars.
Patrice has a bachelors degree from Villanova and a Ph.D. from Bryn Mawr where she served as Assistant Dean of the Undergraduate College. Before joining the Provost’s office, Patrice was Professor of Philosophy and Director of Women’s studies at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA, where she taught courses in political philosophy and feminist theory. She is the author of The Impossibility of Motherhood: Feminism, Individualism, and the Problem of Mothering (1999) and the co-editor of Women and Children First: Feminism, Rhetoric, and Public Policy (2005) and Feminist Ethics and Social Policy (1997).
