Eden Kloetzli ’17

Eden is an Eastern shore native, farmer, and cultural preservationist.
Passionate about preserving traditional cultures, Eden dedicated her thesis research to subjects of architectural salvage, or preserving culturally significant architecture through re-use. She lives on her family run farm that focuses on sustainability and environmentally conscious methods of agriculture including usage of wild plant foods and mass compost production.
Eden’s prior work experience in the food industry fueled her to join the Eastern Shore Food Lab team to forge a path of informed eating in the community. She believes that food is an essential part in creating a positive society.
