Class of 2005
Major/Minor: International Studies and Environmental Studies
After graduating summa cum laude in 2005, I took a job as the International Sales and Marketing person at Chesapeake Fields in Chestertown.
One year later, I moved to Florida and took a job in Marketing Research for Landis.
In 2008, I moved to Houston with my boyfriend (whom I met in college, while studying abroad in Japan). I became an Environmental Investigator for the State of Texas (TCEQ). We got married!
In 2013 I quit my “day job” to pursue my personal finance blog full-time, Frugal Confessions.
In 2017, I won a Plutus Foundation Grant to bring my creation alive: the Mt. Everest Money Simulation: A Kid’s Educational Adventure. I also began Money Prodigy, where I partner with Mamas to teach their kids how to handle money.
