Mai Do

Class of 2019
Major/Minor: Political Science

A Southern California native, Mai Nguyen Do received associates degrees in history and liberal arts and sciences from College of the Canyons in 2016. She formerly served on the Santa Clarita Valley Young Democrats Executive Board as Corresponding Secretary, was the co-founder of CA-25 United for Progress, and is currently an active member of PIVOT’s Young Vietnamese Americans committee. She formerly interned with the California Clean Money Campaign and Action Fund in 2016, and she now serves as the Communications Director on the Allison Berkowitz for Delegate campaign. 
Mai is currently Courage Campaign’s first Political Fellow and is also the founding executive editor of Rambutan Literary. She is the author of Elgin Award-nominated Ghosts Still Walking, published by Platypus Press.
Campus Involvement

Mai Nguyen Do is a political science major. She was the 2017-2018 Rose O’Neill Literary House Social Media & Marketing Intern, a recipient of the Rose O’Neill Literary House Jacoby Endowment grant, and an alum of the Training Ms. Presdient program.
