Lecture/Discussion/Video Presentations

This class continues the examination of James Bond as a cultural phenomenon. Between 1952 and his death in 1966, Ian Fleming published 12 novels and two short story collections about Bond. Since 1962 seven actors have portrayed 007 in 25 films. We will examine all aspects of this cultural icon, as well as many of the TV and cinematic “spin-offs” of the James Bond franchise. If you prefer your classes shaken, not stirred, this is the course for you!

JOHN WIECZORECK has taught American and world literature as an adjunct professor at Delaware State University, Chesapeake College and Rowan University.
