Dr. Yost’s research specializes in technology and health as well as quality of life issues in older adult populations. Her research evaluates how different technologies can be utilized in older adult populations to maintain physical, mental, and emotional health.

Dr. Yost and colleagues recently published a book on their UAB ICT Quality of Life Study- a 5 year longitudinal study on the impact of technology on well-being in older adult populations.
