Jiahan Liu came from the mainland of China in July 2012. He transferred from St. Mary’s College of Maryland, where he was a member of their choir, in 2015. He is currently working on the Maryland Highway Safety Office (MHSO) grant. Jiahan is an Anthropology major with experience in Archaeology. Jiahan is an archaeology major and during Summer of 2015, Jiahan worked on an Archaeology survey in Newtowne Neck State Park, in which he did over 600 shovel tests, analysis from soil, labeling of artifacts, and research over the two months he was involved in the survey. Jiahan has excellent archeological skills and hopes to have the chance to gain more experience at Washington College. He is friendly and willing to be friends with his workmates.
