Q & A

Hometown/High School: New London, PA / Avon Grove High School

Favorite Place/Activity on Campus: For hanging with friends, I actually love the bottom of Hodson. You get to see so many people passing by which can spark some interesting conversations. I also like the tables outside of Hynson Lounge for working outside, hanging with friends, and doing homework.

Recommended Class/Professor: ANY of the classes in the French department… Mesdames Pears and Maynard are the best. For non-majors and majors alike, Dr. Carr in the Biology department is incredible as well.

Favorite Hobbies/things to do: hanging with/annoying my friends, running, speaking/learning French, traveling, and hiking on nature trails.

Why I chose WAC: I really liked the small size of the college because I knew I’d get a more personalized experience, especially when it came to professors. The sense of community at WAC was also an enticing feature that drew me to it.

Cool thing I did: I studied abroad during the 2017-2018 academic year in Grenoble, a city in the Alps region of southeastern France.
