Rachel Loose

Class of 2007
Major/Minor: Majors: Drama/ International Studies

Rachel currently works for Washington Performing Arts in Washington, DC. Previously she worked with Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, Arena Stage, the Kennedy Center, and the Edinburgh Fringe.  She has developed another specialty in disability access and ADA compliance in all areas of performing arts management and she runs open captioning for Studio Theatre. Rachel received an M.A. in Arts Management from George Mason University in 2010. Rachel also acts and stage manages professionally in her “free” time. 

Her future plans include perusing a PhD in Arts Management and Cultural Policy and she one days hopes to teach Arts Management full time.


Rachel fulfilled her senior thesis obligation at WC by directing a production of Mary Zimmerman’s Metamorphoses.
