Weekly Recap 11/5

The swimming program traveled to Gettysburg over the weekend.

Women’s Swimming:

WC competed against an undefeated Gettysburg team, which ended in a 164.5-96.5 advantage to the Bullets.

Junior Julia Portmann led WC, winning three individual events in the 1000, 200, and the 500 freestyle. Senior Jenni Clune followed as she won the 100 breaststroke. Clune also came in second in the 100 freestyle.

WC will host Salisbury on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. 

Men’s Swimming:

The Shoremen also traveled to Gettysburg where they dropped the meet164-98. 

Highlighting the meet was sophomore Seth Wrigley who won the 100 butterfly and placed second in the 200 butterfly. Freshman Andrew Feeley earned a first place finish in the 200 backstroke. 

The Shoremen will also play host to Salisbury on Wednesday.
