Field Hockey:

To finish out their final game before the Centennial Conference tournament, the Shorewomen suffered a 2-1 defeat at Muhlenberg.

Scoring the lone goal for WC was freshman Kailyn Brandt. With the goal, Brandt finished her first regular season campaign with 9 goals, 6 assists, and 24 points. Junior Morgan Domanico totaled for 10 saves, which was her third double digit save performance of the season. 

The Shorewomen will host Haverford College on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Centennial Conference First Round tournament. 

Women’s Soccer:

In the final game of the season, the Shorewomen traveled to Muhlenberg where they dropped a close 2-1 game to the Mules.

Junior Arianna Sabatino scored the goal for WC, which was her 6th of the season. This was the final game for seniors Maribeth Harrington, Steph Scott, Hayley Hartman, Lexi Young, and Kat Moore.

Men’s Soccer:

The Shoremen ended their season on a positive note with a 2-0 victory at Muhlenberg. 

Junior Kyle Gaeffke contributed in both goals as he scored one and assisted one. Gaeffke assisted junior Brian Graham. 

This was the final game for seniors Michael Holowesko, Skylar Clark, Chris Gingrich, and Debashish Goenka. 

Volleyball:

The Shorewomen finished their season with a road match at Muhlenberg which resulted in a 3-0 defeat. 

Senior Taylor Horan tallied 26 assists, which finished her career with 3,295 total, just eight shy of the program record. Senior Alaina Geissberger had five blocks in the match as she finished off her career with 296 blocks, third-all time in team history.

It was the final match for Sarah Bentley, Amy Rohn, Emily Houck, Geissberger, and Horan. 

Men’s Swimming:

In their Centennial Conference home opener, WC defeated Franklin & Marshall by a score of 135-127. In the victory, freshman Brett Edwards and sophomore Aidan Sullivan both won two individual events.

As a freshman, Andrew Feeley became the Shoremen’s second-fastest swimmer ever in 200 backstroke as he swam a time of 1:56.91. Meanwhile sophomore Brendan Jones won the 1000 freestyle and senior Cody Weiler won the 50 freestyle.

WC will travel to Gettysburg on Saturday, November 4th for their second Centennial Conference meet.

Women’s Swimming:

The Shorewomen also picked up a win over Franklin and Marshall, something that hasn’t been done since 2007. The home opener ended in a 134-128 final.

Senior Jenni Clune contributed to four first-place finishes while junior Julia Portmann won three events, as well. 

The team will also travel to Gettysburg on Saturday, November 4th.
