CHESTERTOWN, MD—Washington College professors of music Dan Shomper and Grace Eun Hae Kim will perform on Friday, Oct. 4, as part of the 12@Hotchkiss midday concert series. The concert will begin at noon in Hotchkiss Recital Hall, Gibson Center for the Arts. It is free and open to the public.
Cellist Shomper and pianist Kim will present works by Spanish and South American composers that include da Falla, Ginastera and Piazolla. Shomper holds a D.M.A. in Cello Performance from the University of Maryland, College Park. Kim earned her D.M.A. in Piano Performance from The Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University.
