Making Dreams Work
CHESTERTOWN, MD—Fiction writer Roy Kesey will give a craft talk titled “Using Dreams in Narrative” on November 9 at 4:30 p.m. at the Rose O’Neill Literary House, 407 Washington Avenue. Kesey will discuss both the history of dreams in literature and their potential use in contemporary work. The talk, which is free and open to the public, will include writing exercises.
A 1991 graduate of Washington College, Kesey is the first-ever Sophie Kerr/Literary House Writer-in-Residence at his alma mater. He is the author of short story collections Any Deadly Thing and All Over, the novel Pacazo, and the novella Nothing in the World and his work has been anthologized in Best American Short Stories.
