Survivors Alfred and Josiane Traum will share their stories at Washington College Monday, April 22.

CHESTERTOWN, MD—On Monday, April 22, Hillel at Washington College presents “A Living Memory: Stories Told from Holocaust Survivors.” The event, held to mark   Holocaust Remembrance Day, will host survivors Josiane and Alfred Traum. It begins at 4 p.m. in the Litrenta Lecture Hall of the Toll Science Center and is free and open to the public.

Alfred Traum, a native of Vienna, Austria and his wife, Josiane Traum, of Bruges, Belgium will share their individual stories of survival. The pair currently live in Maryland and volunteer regularly at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
