In a lunchtime concert Friday, March 22, the College chorus and chamber singers will offer a fun, enlightening ride through some iconic concept albums.

CHESTERTOWN, MD—On Friday, March 22, the Washington College Chorus and WC Chamber Singers will present the “History of Rock Opera,” an entertaining and educational journey through four decades of concept albums.

The performance will begin at 12:30 in Hotchkiss Recital Hall, Gibson Center for the Arts. It is free and open to the public.

The concert and lecture will feature music from The Who, Queen, Pink Floyd, Green Day, and more, with narration by Chorus Conductor Douglas Brandt Byerly, who created his first Rock Opera shows for Anne Arundel Community College, where he chairs the performing arts.
