English 101 Students See Tony Award-winning Play Fun Home

November 09, 2015
After teaching the graphic novel Fun Home in her English 101 class, Assistant Director of the Writing Center Neisha Green took her students to New York City to see the Tony Award-winning play adaptation.

Neisha Green wanted to solidify her students’ conversations about the novel, specifically about its rhetoric and rhetorical choices, narrative voice, audience, purpose, style, and the use of imagery. The class traveled to New York City on the first of November. The trip was supported by the Ellen T. Thawley Fund.
