“We had the chance to see the changing leaves with a unique perspective from the water and a renewed appreciation for everything.”

“My first real experience with getting to know the Chester was in October of my freshman year. My friend took us out in his little boat on an unusually warm day to explore some of the nearby inlets of the Chester. My friend’s dad had just died, and what started as a trip to distract him quickly turned into a solemn but peaceful trip. We had the chance to see the changing leaves with a unique perspective from the water and a renewed appreciation for everything. That day started my love of the Chester, because it was a time when I had to be an adult and be there for my friend when he needed me.”
