George Spilich, Retired Professor of Psychology
Over the past four decades, the Chester River has been a thread woven through my life at the College. Every morning as I drove into work, I was greeted by the timeless beauty of the river and town that share a name. My family and I spend much of our free time boating or kayaking on the river with family and friends. As part of my professional life, when I was department chair, I used to take candidates for faculty positions for a ride on the College’s float boat to “seal the deal.”
To me, the Chester River is both changeless and ever changing. It is always there but every day has a different look and flow, and I see the College in the same light.
