On Thursday, March 7, the Kent County Animal Care Shelter brought adorable dogs and cats to the Washington College bookstore to socialize with staff and students. The shelter frequently collaborates with Washington College in order to spread awareness about the importance of adopting pets into forever families. “I really enjoy having the animal shelter bring animals to campus. It’s nice for the students, and it gives these kind animals a chance at finding a nice home,” said Jack Wilson ’20, who attended the event as a way to ease exam week stress.
