Over winter break, biology professors Jennie Carr and Robin Van Meter accompanied students to the Iracambi Research Center in Brazil, where they learned about the organisms and environments that make tropical rainforests such a unique and diverse ecosystem.

Twelve students in the course completed six different projects focused on hummingbirds, plants, butterflies, bats, frogs, and fungi.
