Four Inducted into Honor Society

Junior business management majors Mark Blumberg, Kristi Kozlowski, and Emma Silber, along with graduating senior Evan Laking, were inducted into Sigma Beta Delta.

On March 31, four business management majors were inducted into Sigma Beta Delta, the international honor society that recognizes scholarship and accomplishment among students in business, management, and administration. Washington College President Kurt Landgraf, a former corporate executive, was also inducted as an honorary member.

Mark Blumberg ’19 is majoring in business management with minors in economics and Hispanic studies. On campus, he is a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity and is involved in mixed martial arts.

Kristi Kozlowski ’19 is pursuing a business management major with a minor in justice, law, and society. A member of the women’s basketball team, she is also active in several campus activities. 

Emma Silber ’19 is majoring in business management with a concentration in finance and accounting. She also holds minors in marketing and Hispanic studies. A member of the women’s swim team, she is also involved in several campus activities.

Evan Laking ’18 will graduate in May after completing his senior capstone project: “A Strategic Analysis of Capital One Financial Corp. in the Banking Industry.”
