Cal Thomas, renowned columnist and author, discussed and reflected on writing articles revolving around D.C. and the politics of the Trump administration.

Before taking questions from the audience, Thomas highlighted the growing divide between people due to differing political identities. In his opinion, Americans are focusing more on labels than they are on one’s personality and beliefs.

Thomas argued that because of this increasing political tension, it’s become harder for people in congress to work together and pass important law and regulations for the country. During the Q&A aspect of the event, audience members asked the speaker a variety of questions related to politics and religion in the current administration.
