The history society hosted a dinner of homemade foods from the Revolutionary War era and wrote Valentines to their favorite local historic organizations

On Monday, February 19th, 2018, the History Society hosted a Revolutionary War Dinner in honor of President’s day and George Washington’s birthday. The event included a buffet dinner of homemade recipes from the Revolutionary War era. Attendees also wrote Valentines to their favorite historic Chestertown sites–each card will be displayed at the chosen historical sites. While students ate their traditional dinners, they participated in discussions about Revolutionary War history as well as other types of American history.
