From Monday, January 15th to Thursday, January 18th, Habitat for Humanity club members from Washington College traveled to Onancock, Virginia for the club’s winter break trip this year. The group worked with Habitat for Humanity volunteers from the Onancock, Virginia area to help build a house on a local worksite. The Habitat team stayed in a nearby church and drove out to the worksite every morning to work from 9AM to 3PM. Habitaters split up into three groups to tackle three separate projects on the worksite: building a front porch, back porch, and a shed. The group made a great amount of progress on the house and had lots of fun while doing it.
