Every weekend before Halloween, for over a decade, the residents of Middle Hall have worked together to create a free haunted house tour for Washington College students. The residents decorate the halls of their dorm, memorize scripts, and put on costumes guaranteed to terrify their guests.  Lots of hard work was put in to the event by the Middle Hall residents, as it took a little over a month of their time to make the haunted house possible. The tours last about ten minutes and take students through a variety of scenes, including a cannibalistic butcher’s shop, a nefarious circus troupe, and a witches’ coven.  Reanna Sherman, who was in charge of putting the haunted house together, said her favorite part of the event was “seeing all of the residents get into character and seeing the other students get spooked.”
