Patriot Day Panel: Faith, Freedom, Peace

Rabbi Peter Hyman, Baptist pastor Mike Logdson and Islamic scholar Ermin Sinanović will share insights into making religion a bridge rather than a divide.

CHESTERTOWN, MD—In honor of Patriot Day, the Institute for Religion, Politics, and Culture at Washington College will present an interfaith forum on “Faith, Peace and Freedom” on Wednesday, Sept. 11, at 5:30 p.m. The event will take place in Hynson Lounge, Hodson Hall, on the campus, 300 Washington Avenue and is free and open to the public.

Panelists will be Rabbi Peter Hyman of Temple B’nai Israel in Easton; Pastor Mike Logdson of First Baptist Church, also in Easton; and Ermin Sinanović, academic director at the Virginia-based International Institute of Islamic Thought and assistant professor at the U.S. Naval Academy.
