A cohort of students, faculty, and staff of Habitat for Humanity spent a day refurbishing the playground at St. Martin’s House in Ridgely. The work included reconstructing the roof on an old shed and sprucing up a playhouse for small children.
Students and staff traveled down the Eastern Shore to Belle Haven, Virginia over Fall Break to help build a home with Habitat for Humanity. Habitaters camped at a local church and spent three days putting up drywall, mudding the walls, constructing a shed, and doing some landscaping. Homeowner Danielle Harmon should be able to move in by December!
