Students and staff traveled down the Eastern Shore to Belle Haven, Virginia over Fall Break to help build a home with Habitat for Humanity. Habitaters camped at a local church and spent three days putting up drywall, mudding the walls, constructing a shed, and doing some landscaping. Homeowner Danielle Harmon should be able to move in by December!
Students gathered on Hodson Green for an afternoon Fall Festival with events such as pumpkin chunkin, pumpkin painting, corn hole, and bobbing for apples. Various clubs were represented with booths and the Kent County Humane Society brought kittens to ease students’ stress.
