What’s Found in Translation: An Evening with Diane Arnson Svarlien

Verse translator and classicist Diane Arnson Svarlien gave a reading Tuesday, February 24th at the Rose O’Neill Literary House. The event was part of the series “What’s Found in Translation” and was free and open to the public. Svarlien gave the audience a crash course in translating Ancient Greek into modern-day English in iambic pentameter with text from Euripides’s Trojan Women and other texts.
