Beer Taps at a Nuclear Power Plant? Human Factors: What it is and why it matters
Susan G. Hill, Ph.D., is a senior researcher at the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command’s Army Research Laboratory, the Army’s corporate research laboratory, at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. She will present an introduction to the field of human factors (sometimes called “ergonomics) and how it impacts human interaction with technology. In addition, Dr. Hill will present a brief overview of the CCDC Army Research Laboratory and some of her current research activities, especially in the area of human-robot interaction.
This talk is free and open to the public, sponsored by the Department of Psychology at Washington College.
