Plumbing Sitka Harbor with Eadweard Muybridge, a Talk by Elizabeth Hutchinson, Barnard College/Columbia University

Professor Hutchinson will speak about Eadweard Muybridge’s 1868 photographs of Alaska and discuss what they tell us about how Americans made sense of the alien environment of this newly-acquired territory.
