Prof. English will speak on William Pope.L’s “Skin Set” drawings, which explore the absurdities of racialized language in American society with biting humor and barely-concealed skepticism.

This program is free and open to the public, sponsored by the Department of Art + Art History, the Starr Center for the Study of the American Experience, the Black Studies Department, the Office of the Provost and the William James Forum.
