LightForest Workshop I
Participate in a pair of exciting interdisciplinary workshops being offered in conjunction with the performance of LightForest by visiting artists from the Baltimore Dance Project!
This workshop will explore the practice of both composition and collaboration. During the first half of the workshop, visiting composer Tim Nohe will work with those students interested in music and visiting choreographer Carol Hess will work with those interested in dance. These groups will work independently, in part with material derived from Light Forest. The two groups will then come back together for a performance.
This workshop is open to the entire campus community.
The performances of LightForest and the workshops offered in conjunction with it are made possible by SANDBOX, the Departments of Theatre & Dance, Art + Art History, and Music as well as the Center for Innovation, Research, and Creativity in the Arts at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
