Maya Jasanoff - “Liberty’s Exiles: American Loyalists in the Revolutionary World”

The 2012 George Washington Book Prize Celebration will honor Maya Jasanoff “Liberty’s Exiles: America Loyalists in a Revolutionary World.” This award-winning book is a ground breaking global history of the 60,000 Americans who remained loyal to Britain. It tells the stories of these American refugees, forced to flee to the far corners of the the world after the American Revolution, helped shape the future of the British Empire. The 8th Annual event includes an onstage conversation between the author and Adam Goodheart.
