No Co-Pay when you get a flu shot from an in-network provider!

The flu affects millions of people each year and can lead to serious illness, or even death. The flu can be a contagious illness caused by influenza viruses that infect the lungs, throat and nose. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the best way to prevent the flu is by getting vaccinated each year.

Where to get your flu shot:
There are several options for where to go to get this year’s flu vaccine. Be sure to use a contracted network provider such as those listed in this flyer.

-Visit your doctor or other network provider.
-Visit a network Convenience Care Clinic.
To locate a network provider, visit myuhc.com® or call the member phone number listed on your health plan ID card.

-Visit one of the select retail locations or pharmacies listed below: Pharmacists associated with these retail locations and pharmacies can administer flu shots. No appointments are necessary.

-CVS® Pharmacy
-Kmart® Pharmacy
-Meijer® Pharmacy
-Rite-Aid® Pharmacy
-Safeway® Stores
Including Carrs, Dominick’s, Genuardi’s, Pavilion,
Randalls, Tom Thumb and Vons stores.
-Summit Health
Providing services at select Walmart & Sam’s
Club locations. www.summithealth.com
-Target® Pharmacy
-Walgreens® Pharmacy

There may be some instances where a particular location offered by one of the above centers is not participating in the national UnitedHealthcare network.


Not enrolled in UnitedHealthcare? Not a benefit-eligible employee? Get your flu-shot at the Washington College Flu-shot clinic on September 25, 2013 and October 1, 2013 in the EGG. Please bring $20 cash or check.
