    As part of its 2018-2019 Premier Artists lineup, the Washington College Concert Series presents Vocalist Raissa Katona Bennett, with her program “Can’t Help Singing”, the music of Jerome Kern.  Advance tickets are available through Eventbrite.

  • Godspell 7:30pm: “Godspell,” a musical by Stephen Schwartz & John-Michael Tebelak
    Godspell

    Directed by Ernie Green,Godspell is a musical composed by Stephen Schwartz with spoken parts by John-Michael Tebelak. Premiered in 1971, it has enjoyed immense popularity including several Broadway revivals. One if the most well-known songs, “Day-by-Day,” reached #13 on the Billboard pop charts in 1972.

  • World Music 7:30pm: World Music
    The Department of Music invites you to join us for our Spring World Music Concert, featuring students from the Afro-Cuban, Steel Pan and Indian Ensembles. This concert is free and open to the public.

  • Piano Festival 2019 All Day: Washington College Piano Festival

    The 2nd annual Washington College Piano Festival invites participants of all ages to further develop their talents in an immersive educational experience. Students will have the opportunity to attend workshops, have piano lessons with Washington College piano faculty, perform in Hotchkiss Recital Hall, and compete and win prizes in the Washington College Piano Competition. Our featured guest artist, Yong Hi Moon, Professor of Piano at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University, will be teaching a master class and presenting a concert at 7:30 pm as part of the Washington College Premier Artists Series. 

    All events will be open to the public. In addition, students and families are welcome to take campus tours of the college.

    As part of its 2018-2019 Premier Artists lineup, the Washington College Concert Series presents Pianist Yong Hi Moon. Advance tickets are available through Eventbrite.

  • Honors Recital 7:30pm: Student Honors Recital
    The Department of Music presents the Student Honors Recital.  Student soloist and chamber ensembles are selected for this concert via competitive audition. This event is FREE and open to the public.

    The Department of Music will present a Vocal Recital featuring students from the studios of Carolene Winter and Bennett Umhau. 
  • WACappella 7:30pm: WACappella
    WACappella is Washington College’s Student A cappella group. They will be performing on May 3 at 7:30 pm in Hotchkiss Recital Hall. This is a free concert.
