The Forum on Faith

The Forum on Faith, Freedom, and the American Founding is an annual workshop and series of symposia exploring the role of religion in the American Revolution, the early years of independence, the Federal period, and the enduring relevance of the first principles of the nation.

In April of 2010, the inaugural Forum welcomed noted historian of the founding period, Dr. Richard Beeman, author of the authoritative history of Patrick Henry. Dr. Beeman lectured on the legacy of Patrick Henry and the philosophy of the Antifederalists.

The Forum has since welcomed many distinguished guests, and conducts an annual trip to Mount Vernon to study the enduring founding principles of religious freedom and a moral citizenry embodied in the life and thought of George Washington.
