Anna Solomon is the author of the novel, The Little Bride. Her short stories and essays have appeared in The New York Times Magazine, One Story, Harvard Review, The Georgia Review, and elsewhere, and have twice been awarded the Pushcart Prize. Her short story, “The Lobster Mafia Story,” is Boston’s 2012 One City One Story read. Solomon holds degrees from Brown University and the Iowa Writers Workshop.
Released by Rounder Records on September 14, 2010 and featured in The New York Times and on NPR and NBC’s Last Call with Carson Daly, Clare Burson’s latest album, Silver and Ash, is a concept album that explores Burson’s maternal grandmother’s life in Germany, from her birth in
1919 to her escape in 1938, as well as Burson’s own struggles with rupture, silence, guilt, empathy, and continuity.
