Sprouting almonds adds nutritional value and flavor to your almonds while making them easier to digest.
It is simple to sprout almonds (just add water). The result is a better tasting almond.
1) Soak the almonds in water (overnight).
2) Lay the almonds out to dry completely (make sure they aren’t touching each other.
3) Rinse the almonds again for about 30 seconds, and let dry completely again. Rinse and dry once more after this to remove the antinutrient phytic acid from the nuts.
Eat fresh to maximize nutrition! Or for an irresistible flavor experience, roast the sprouted almonds afterward with some salt and coconut oil! Cook them at 400° for 6 minutes, or till you hear them popping!
