Try out a career.
Internships let you explore careers in different fields, from marketing to accounting to information systems. But they come with an expiration date, so you can try out different kinds of work experience.
Most of our majors do at least one internship during their undergraduate days, to explore careers, make connections, and enrich a résumé.
We’re eager to help you find an internship—and once you have one, we’ll help you learn lasting lessons about work and the workplace.
The Center for Career Development is a great source for internship opportunities.
After completing BUS 201 Introduction to Financial Accounting and BUS 202 Marketing, students may receive academic credit for an internship by enrolling in BUS 390. The course is offered in Fall, Spring, and Summer. The summer BUS 390 course is taught online, so students can enroll regardless of where their internship is located.
