    An April 15 slide lecture by Gary Schiff, a professor of history and cantor for Chestertown’s Havurah, will chronicle the history of the Dutch Jews from the Golden Age of the 1600s to the horrors of the Holocaust.

    Dr. Gary Schiff will present “In search of Dutch Jewry: Mokum and Medicine” at 5:00 p.m. April 15th in Hynson. Dr. Schiff taught in the WC graduate history program for many years, and was President of Gratz College in Philadelphia, a school dedicated to Jewish scholarship.
