Spring Break 2014 Photos and Videos
On March 8, 2014 a team of 35 Washington College students and staff left Chestertown at 7:30am and headed to Columbus Georgia. After a one-night stay in North Carolina, the team arrived in Columbus on March 9, 2014 and unpacked at their home away from home, St. Mark’s United Methodist Church. Bright and early on Monday, March 10, 2014 the team headed to the work sites ready to build! The team was split up to work one two houses (Team Blue and Team Black) and were joined by students and staff from Western Kentucky University and Emory and Henry College. After 5 days of hard work, rain, and collaboration, the teams had taken two houses from slabs to shingles!
