Anthropology Club is dedicated to the study of the human race, its cultures, languages, evolution, and past. To that end, the club organizes students from all disciplines to promote awareness of foreign cultures and lifestyles in addition to serving as an intellectual resource for the use of the Washington College community.
“Anthropology is the most humanistic of the sciences and the most scientific of the humanities.”
- Alfred L. Kroeber
As representatives of Washington College, the Anthropology Club members acknowledge that efforts can and should be made to promote the well being of communities both local and abroad. Members of the club will make an effort every year to better the lives of others, particularly when such pursuits align with the study of Anthropology.
