The Washington College Review is a liberal arts journal that publishes undergraduate student writing and graphic art from all disciplines of the College and that recognizes work deserving of a wider audience.

Manuscripts should be prepared in the format recommended by the style manual published by your discipline’s professional society as long as it falls within its general format and content guidelines. We will accept Chicago style, APA or MLA. The most recent editions of these manuals are available for consultation at the front desk of the Miller Library, at the Writing Center, and online.
Another easy source to consult is A Manual for Writers of Research Papers, Theses, and Dissertations (2007, 7th edition, University of Chicago Press) by Kate L. Turabian. This book is available for sale at the Bookstore. It is also available for consultation at the front desk of the Miller Library and at the Writing Center.
We also recommend that you use volume XIX (2011) of the Washington College Review as an example.
