Social and virtual is what we make together in Sandbox 3D.
Recently, a series of remarkable field experiments and leadership in the Sandbox Project have teamed up with the GIS lab to support the joint framing of media projects using digital technology. In an ever expanding need for meaning making, the Sandbox Project 3D operates on Unity gaming software that allows users to see from multiple perspectives as they use the right and left side of their brains. Eventually, aided by students as an intentional space, anyone will be able to use the available digital resources. In all, Sandbox 3D is a chance to make a digital mark and activate creativity by sharing talent with near and virtual peers.
