Maryland Offender Management System

The Maryland Offender Management System (MOMS) was developed by the Maryland Crime Mapping and Analysis Program at Washington College with funding From the Governor’s Office of Crime Control and Prevention. More about MOMS.

MOMS allows criminal justice professionals to search, retrieve, analyze, map and download data about individuals on adult parole or probation, individuals who have a juvenile offender record, registered sex offenders, as well as several other offender databases. Users can “mouse over” a map symbol to quickly view case data and mug shots. A buffer tool retrieves cases within a user specified distance of a map location or address. Mug shots returned by search results can be opened to create a “police line-up” of suspects, and search results can be downloaded as Excel or CSV format files.

The MOMS is secure web based application that functions inside any internet browser using Microsoft’s Silverlight browser plug in. MOMS access is a restricted to NCIC users only via the Maryland Dashboard.
